After leaving CHHS I spent four years at IUP, also running track and CC. Then on to PSU for an elementary school counseling degree. Spent 5 years working for IU 8 out of Ebensburg and then spent the remainder of my career at Clearfield Area School District as an elementary school counselor. In 2013 I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After operation, chemo and radiation I am now cancer free. I retired in 2014.
I met my wife, Cindy, at IUP and we have three daughters. I spend a lot of my time now doing sports photography of the local high school teams and serving in various roles in my church.
I have lived in Philipsburg PA since 1983.
