Following graduation from Penn State have lived/worked in lobbying and association management in four states --PA, TN, VA and MD. Currently work in Annapolis as Maryland Director for a public affairs consulting firm and live in Easton on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Also founded and serve as Managing Partner of a consulting firm for not for profit organizations. Have taught for the University of Virginia, College of Southern MD and the U.S Chamber's Institute for Organizational Management. Trips to central PA are infrequent -- generally once a month for meetings in Harrisburg. Married for 36 years to Shelley, two grown daughters and two grandchildren.
