My family moved from Camp Hill my sophomore year of college, and I moved several times after that. I have lived in Rockford, IL (northwest of Chicago) for about 30 years, where my husband, Mark, and I raised our two children. Our children now live in Chicago and Boston, and we are expecting our first grandchild in September. I went to law school in my 30's, and was in trust banking for several years. I am now an attorney in private practice, and a partner in a local law firm. Over the years, I have done a lot of community work, most recently in the areas of healthcare, and diversity issues within the legal profession.
